Inaugural Issue of HUG Buzz

Good morning!

I am pleased to be writing to you today with the inaugural issue of HUG Buzz, our customer service-focused e-newsletter, which you’ll be receiving bi-monthly.

This issue – as well as every issue planned going forward – is packed full of information that you can use to make the most of your organization’s Connected Community™. From user tips and case studies to product enhancements and HUG Resources, HUG Buzz aims to bring you the very best and latest information and tools you need to ensure your users are happy, engaged and informed.

We decided to launch this month purposefully given that there are just two weeks remaining until our biggest event of the year – the HUG Super Forum.

It’s a time that we at Higher Logic look forward to and take the opportunity to share with attendees ideas for greater community engagement, walk you through some of the most recent updates and learn from each other about trends in community management and social media – all while earning CAE Credits.

I would be remiss if I didn’t take advantage of plugging EventSential, the HUG Super Forum Event Mobile app that’s available exclusively for attendees. Available for iPhone, iPad and Android devices, the app allows you to:

  1. Build your schedule and plan your day;
  2. Engage and network;
  3. Receive up-to-the-minute event announcements; and
  4. Find what you’re looking for.

And for those of you with plans for 2014 events of your own, remember that this kind of event-specific mobile app is available to you. To learn more about how you can set up an event app for your organization, contact Carole Zdobysz.

I look forward to hearing what topics you’d like to be addressed in HUG Buzz so that you can be better armed at meeting the needs of your community. Please email any changes or suggestions you may have to andy@higherlogic.com.

Twelve days and counting …
