The title of this story caught my eye "Scientists hope to network Facebook-style" but what really amazed me was the first Paragraph:
Cornell University and six other institutions will use a $12.2 million
federal stimulus grant from the National Institutes of Health to
develop a Facebook-style professional networking system to link
biomedical researchers across the country.
Now, that's a big budget! It certainly makes the small monthly fee we charge seem like peanuts!!!
