Association CEO Summit (Part 2)

We had so much great insight from our CEO Leadership ForumTuesday that we wanted you to savor it over two installments. Sixty-five association and non-profit leaders joined the breakfast event for the latest in technology, compliance, and more.

21st century association leaders need to bring the same intensity and focus to technology that 20th century leaders brought to advocacy, governing, and financial management and strategy, says Principled Innovation's Jeff De Cagna. "Technology is eroding association business models from the outside," Jeff says. "Over the last 15 years, the World Wide Web has done more than any single invention in human history to change to the nature of what all kinds of organizations do." The tech trends driving change are dubbed MOLARS: mobile, location, real time, and social. Jeff worries that organizations still hold such tech tools at arms length. "Stop fearing the technology and start using it."
