Launched in September 2015, Tinystep is a social network that aims to connect parents with other parents, pediatricians and other child care service providers. Parents can use the network to ask questions, get advice and offer tips to others about all things related to child rearing. The network features forums, Q and As and both group and individual chat and messaging capabilities.
The early years of a child's life, especially a parent's first child, can be fraught with questions and uncertainty. Tinystep aims to provide a one-stop shop where parents can leverage the experience of others in similar situations to assist them in their efforts in raising their own children. Parents can build a sense of community and camaraderie as they see that they are not the only ones struggling and unsure.
According to founder Suhail Abidi, future plans for the social network include incorporating the ability to purchase goods and services relating to child care directly through the network. As of January 2016, the network boasts over 10,000 members and projects that number to continue steadily rising into the foreseeable future. Check it out at www.tinystep.in
