    Hi Asia Pacific HUGgers,

So much has been going on in the association space recently due to COVID-19 and we want to discuss it all! Join us on May 15th at 2 PM AEST as 6 Degrees of Association comes together for another casual chat.

Join our very own Asia Pacific Country Manager, Robert Barnes (Higher Logic), Sara Drury (Redback Connect) and Andrew McCallum (Association of Corporate Counsel) discuss and/or argue about:

    • The silver lining: who is surviving and thriving in this environment and what are they doing differently?
    • Marketing and messaging: how do you get it right in a time like this?
    • Decision making: has the process changes for associations and are we making decisions quicker?
    • Delivering personalisation: how are associations creating experiences and delivering value for members?
    • Going virtual: events and member engagement has shifted online - we'll discuss how to make it work for you
    Register now!

    Cheers for now,

    Lisa Agic

Your Asia Pacific HUG Community Manager

Thanks for the shout out @Lisa Agic. We originally belted out Season 1 of Six Degrees of Association for a bit of fun back in 2017.

Seems so long ago but maybe its not. As a trio we have since completed some live episodes for AuSAE and Associations Forum which were a lot of fun and very well received. With 2020 events cancelled or postponed, and with Sara and Andrew missing each other (and tolerating me) we decided to broadcast again from isolation.

Quick update on 6DA in Isolation. We have 47 people from 42 different organisations registered for the broadcast already and have had some questions in advance to answer during the show. About 20% of registrants are you, our wonderful HL customers, so stoked there will be a bunch of us online working to build a great community of association executives.

Some of the questions we have already are:
    • What information could/should be shared with the board - easy, regular reporting options to keep them informed but not micromanaging?
    • Best Practice Tips for Starting an Online Community in COVID
    • How do Associations avoid webinar fatigue among their members? How do we deliver the networking and social connection our members value so much when conferences are off limits? (We all know my answer to this one! #Community anyone!)
Personally, I can not wait to hear which Random Association Andrew has found to profile this time. The Roundabout Appreciation Society is still my favourite.

So grab your Friday afternoon beverage of choice and join us for the next edition of Six Degrees of Association - the first internet TV show dedicated to the wonderful world of associations!
