    We are happy to announce that we will be holding one live community webinar training session every month with our Higher Logic Academy for our Asia Pacific customers  starting in October 2022.

    So before we book in our first training session, we want to hear from YOU, as to what community training you need.

    Hi Lisa,
                    Thanks for asking - I'm looking forward to joining these sessions.

    My topics are fairly specific to what I am working on in Higher Logic. I would like to see:
    • What is best practice for managing active/disabled community users which are brought over into Informz (via List builder) as a contact? For example, deactivating a community user should deactivate/unsubscribe the contact from Marketing Contacts (In the case of retired or deceased members which no longer want contact).
    • Community: What is best practice for removing accounts which have no email address? We have 741 and only seem to be able to remove one at a time.
    • Events: How to assign a security group to just those users who have been created as part of registering for an event (so they don't become part of the general community, I can move them into a custom event community). A user is created when a member chooses the option "register others" as part of event registration.
    • Events: How to make an event publicly available with options (Registration Choices).
    • Membership: We haven't yet got the membership module enabled (ticket request in progress), but what is the best way to build a membership registration form? We want to capture interests and demographics as part of the form, which we can later use in Campaigns.

    This is all I can think of for now.

    @Wesley Purdy - great to see the questions you have. While @@Lisa Agic is on leave, I wanted to jump in to share some of the KB articles that may help you dive into your questions more deeply.
    From there, I think we need the help of some key people like @Beth Arritt or @Emily Stamm who may have some experience with these questions.
    You might also consider posting the same questions in the Ask a Community Expert or Ask a Marketing Expert Communities where other users may have experience with handling these things? ​
    To the extent this is useful, here are some links to Support Articles for each of your subjects:

    We will work through the flexibility of a Community Registration Form ​to capture demographic information when we demo you in the New Year. The form you see in the screenshot below can be adapted to suit. This information can then be used to create Target Groups - https://support.higherlogic.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038373972-Manage-your-Target-Groups 

    From there, it can link to the Member Manager feature with payment capability if that is how you choose to move forward, effectively creating a standalone Membership Community site.
