During the novel coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak in early 2020, The National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) took a new digital approach and immediately pivoted to support three online communities to connect local health department and improve internal staff communication. NACCHO was activated to a Level 3 (highest), full incident command structure, which meant that they were dedicating significant staff resources to the COVID-19 response. Attend this session to hear how NACCHO's communities played an important role in connecting local health officials to share important information, keep staff informed and engaged, and support members during uncertain times.
