In this Powered by Edu Blog, we're exploring our NEW Engagement Benchmark Score or EBS for short. We're pretty excited about it here at Higher Logic HQ and hope you'll be too.

The Engagement Benchmark Score is a tool for you to understand your community engagement through data – and how it compares to communities of similar size, focus area, and scope. We also provide tips for every letter grade on how you can level up your community engagement strategy to boost your score and improve that GPA.

In this blog, we'll explore the basics-- where to locate your EBS, how we use three factors of Activity, Value, and Reach to calculate your overall score, how to tell when your EBS was last calculated, and when your next score will be ready. We'll also show you where you can get tips and suggestions for boosting engagement and improving your score. And finally, how and where to enter in data that is specific to your community to improve the accuracy of your EBS.

Intrigued? Then check out this video below to get started:

Hi @Emma Glasgow. We plan to add a score "trends" element (likely a graph/chart) on a future iteration of this so you can track your progress.

Will the monthly scores be archived somewhere for comparison?
