As part of your Beta Program, if you don't already have a committee or group set up, think about creating a new committee - call it the Member Engagement Committee and use it as platform for your membership recognition platform as well. Use the committee to drive further activities and have the committee extend beyond your typical beta program rollout. This way, you can have a group dedicated to bringing new ideas in the world of social networking to members as part of a longer term initiative.
